Find your plan
Estate planning depends on your situation. Pick yours.
Different households need different things. These pathways skip the generic and go straight to what your case actually requires.
Built for couples
Mirror wills — one household, two principals.
One household, two principals.
Married? You and your spouse share a household. Each of you gets your own will, with cross-references to the other — no copy-pasting names, no out-of-sync edits. Change a beneficiary on one side and the other is flagged for review.

Boring tech, on purpose.
Field-level encryption
Legal name, DOB, beneficiary identities — encrypted with AWS KMS before touching the database. Plaintext never persists to disk.
Versioned templates
Every will is bound to a specific template version. Statute changes create a new revision — your signed document never silently changes.
Append-only audit
Every action on your will is logged immutably. We can't un-do something we didn't authorize. Your executor can verify the full history.
Legitimacy
Reviewed by attorneys in every state we serve.
Reviewed by attorneys licensed in California, New York, and Texas.
Each state template is reviewed on a cadence against that state's probate code. SOC 2 Type I audit in progress. If we don't cover your situation, we say so.
- ✓Attorney-reviewed per state
- ✓SOC 2 Type I — in progress
- ✓Transparent pricing, no dark patterns
Attorney review
Each state's template is reviewed by a licensed estate-planning attorney in that state. Currently engaged for 3 states: California, New York, Texas. Reviewer credentials (name + bar ID + review year) will be published here at public launch.
What customers say
Wills, finished — in their words.
“I'd been putting this off for six years. Did it one evening after dinner. The couples flow was the thing — we'd tried other sites and had to fill the same form twice.”
“Being a single parent, the guardian nomination part is what I care about most. Two friends named, primary and backup, done in ten minutes. Print-ready PDF looked like something from a law firm.”
“I'm an estate attorney myself. Used Trustwise for my own will because my practice focuses on trusts and I wanted something clean for my will-only case. Template was cleaner than some I've seen at bar CLE events.”

Start your will →Will Plus bundle
Will + healthcare directive + POA + HIPAA at one price.
The four documents every adult should have, bundled. $179 individual / $268 couples. Saves about $50 vs buying each document separately, and ships when the underlying products complete legal review per state.
Learn more →Advance Healthcare Directive
Your medical wishes, in writing.
Combines a living will (treatment preferences) with a healthcare power of attorney (who speaks for you). State-specific statutory forms where available.
Join the waitlist →Financial Power of Attorney
Someone you trust, making money decisions.
Durable financial POA that authorizes an agent to handle banking, real estate, and tax matters if you cannot. Springing or immediate, your choice.
Join the waitlist →Revocable Living Trust
Probate avoidance and privacy, when a will isn't enough.
For estates that are larger, own real estate across states, or want assets to pass outside probate. Includes pour-over will, schedule of assets, certification of trust, and a funding guide.
See the roadmap →Young Adult Plan
The first estate plan for 18-to-29-year-olds.
A tailored bundle for young adults: healthcare directive, HIPAA release, financial POA, and a starter will. Designed for renters, graduates, and new parents.
See the roadmap →Special Needs Trust
Provide for a loved one without disqualifying their benefits.
Third-party SNT for parents and family members supporting a beneficiary on SSI or Medicaid. Distributions can pay for things public benefits don't cover, without counting as the beneficiary's income.
Learn more →Pet Trust
Care, food, and vet bills — your pet's life after yours.
A statutory pet trust naming a caretaker, a trustee, and a funding amount. Recognized in all 50 states. Distinct from a will bequest, which can't legally be enforced past your death.
Learn more →Charitable Remainder Trust
Income for life, then to charity — with a tax deduction now.
Most useful for appreciated stock or real estate: donate it to the trust, receive payments for life or a term, the remainder goes to charity. Defers capital gains, generates an immediate income-tax deduction.

Honest lane
What we don't do.
We're honest about our lane. Trustwise is simple wills for three states — not a full estate plan.
- No trusts. Living, revocable, irrevocable — not here. If you need one, you need a lawyer.
- No power of attorney or healthcare directive. These are separate documents with their own rules.
- Only CA, NY, TX. Moving state? Wait until we cover it, or see a local attorney.
- No 50-state coverage. We'd rather do three states right than fifty badly.
Need those? See our lawyer-comparison guide or consider Trust & Will for broader scope.
